Horribly directed, cliché, basic, and childish.
No, it didn’t have gangs, mafia, bad boy love interests, nor black screen author intros.
But it was about this group of seven friends, and each one of the girls would narrate a different chapter.
In the first chapter, they were at one of the friends’ house, and the camera would focus on one girl while the narrator described her. Like: ‘This is Gracie. She loves ballet and is an amazing decorator. She has three brothers, a dog, and a cat.’
And in the second chapter, the narrator described the mean girls as they each walked onto the screen with the blue lockers background.
‘Nadia is the queen bee of this school. She’s always insulting me, blah blah blah’.
And the plot was basically that there was going to be a school dance, and the girls had to invite someone to the dance. I can’t believe I actually wrote something like that.
It was early 2017, and the story was in INK.
