Mmmmm… yeah I agree with you there ![]()
Been kinda expecting for the mandatory colour change. Though this colour scheme is a bit intense.
Also apparently, this one ends at 8 episodes too. Even though the original story is Long, I think for the most part this featured version is pretty well-paced

When I saw this I instantly thought about your characters!

I can’t help but think of that towel as velvet with the new color scheme. He’s so rich he dries his bum with genuine silk velvet.
Boy so rich
but actually I was thinking about them being Ketchup and Mustard
Yeah, I don’t care for the combination. Not sure why they got rid of the yellow dress on Prom Night but brought it in over here. I liked them both better before.
It is a weird thing that happened, happening since probably a Little More Me.
The cover still has the awkward reaction from MC though
It tell you the amount of time now?!! Cool
P.S. Happy Birthday!!
Yes it does, though I guess it depends on the amount of branching a story has
And thanks!
You’re welcome!
I agree with you! It’s usually the kind of unbalanced energy that makes the trope feel bad to me. Same with pinning to the wall. I don’t like wording that alludes to MC being stuck in place or prey-like. On the other hand, when they’re both completely into it the whole way through, it can be sexy.
Though obviously we still can’t completely wild out with make-outs and sex on the app sksk.
Okay, lowkey I kind of like the color scheme change, but it definitely gives a different feel to the cover.
Right, like it’s supposed to make people look at the towel first
It does because the deep red is one of the most striking blocks of color within the cover, but for me, it’s also like it gives it a more historical fiction vibe? Even though it’s very clearly modern day. I don’t know how to explain it.
I get it, it’s like those vintage, cheesy rich guy/poor girl romance story covers, complete with overly-buff guy
Same, girl
Well, maybe with him only being in a towel lmao. But my initial thought was something like this:

See how both palettes are mostly muted colors and have shades of red and yellow mixed with lighter off-white tones? It’s hard to recognize unless you’re already familiar with the look, but this was my mental association.
The old version on the other hand is a little more saturated and has a lot of gold tones that connect it with wealth or decadence.
Whoa, pretty cool actually.
Thanks for the lesson
Oh, going onto a different talking point: playing in the Darius branch, he often gets called manwh * re by MC a lot. What does the female LI branch have as the equivalent, because I doubt they would just use ‘wh * re’?
