I know right rather then focusing on the whole “bad boy” theme so annoying…

- when the love interest is totally misogynistic, like the whole reason I’m interested in fictional romance is so I don’t have to deal with actual misogynists. If I wanted some edgy white boy with no personality to emotionally abuse me I could just call up any guy I went to school with.
- when the MC is a total car ornament that just sort of lets the other characters drag her through the story.
- when the MC is royalty and constantly acting totally selfish and irresponsible

I know I’m late but I agree, cheating MCs are not super fun to play as. I guess hormones are a thing, but it’s just upsetting. I remember occasionally thinking stuff like ‘no guys i’m happy with my love interest get this dude out of here please’
