I don’t really have a description for it yet but I have the plot of the story
if you dont mind probably just censor out some parts so you avoid spoiling the story or just pm me ! you dont need a proper fancy description but just a summery or stream of thought about the story would help. if you do want help for the title AND description let me know ill be happy to help
I’m looking forward to whoever can put an interesting spin on the theme rather then just shoot straight for the obvious plot
I’m thinking of entering. Here’s my idea:
Jessica is 23 and ends up kissing her best friend’s uncle Danny (around 30 years old). He is a military man, just returned from a tour overseas. They try so hard to keep the kiss a secret, all while fighting their feelings. I’ll be throwing in elements of comedy and drama too.
What do you think?
So yeah, this is pretty much a list of Ideas I have so far
It kind of a cliche but since it’s not a teacher - student relationship it’s okay?

Thanks, I’m gonna do my best to stay away from all clichés as much as i can.
Another World was great? I still read the submissions!
What does “kiss and tell” mean?
You know when someone says “I don’t kiss and tell.” Kiss and tell is defined as to share your romantic exploits, especially those of a sexual nature, with others.
So say your character has sex with the bad boy, and the bad boy tells the whole school, that would be kiss and tell.
I’ll be honest, the answer surprised me a bit. But here it is for anyone else who’s considering entering.
Can I write fantasy story with romance and put it into romance section
That’s what I’m doing! But after the contest is over I might put it in fantasy
I was thinking the same
This is still a bit vague to me. My understanding is that the people are caught kissing and it sets off the events of the story, but this almost makes it sound like they have to keep it hidden? But if they’re caught they really can’t? Maybe I’m reading too much into this.

now i might have to change my plot a bit
If you guys are looking for writing partners, go to my thread here
If I’m not careful, I could lose my mind overthinking it. I’m really not sure if the kiss has to be discovered or it’s just the threat of it being discovered or-
Yeah. Now I’m overthinking.
@Liz if you could clarify some more that’d be great.
You can still add mystery or something to it. ^^ Maybe the MC got kissed but doesn’t know by who. Or the MC kisses someone in a club while being drunk and end up regretting it, but MC also finds a weird letter in the mailbox. Turns out, the person MC kissed is a stalker, possible thriller element. You can go a lot of ways if you just use your imagination. ^^
