Really real quick I just wanted to point out the irony in this description… Irresistible? Really? If they were so irresistible why are there multiple scenes clearly showing the MC resisting the LI’s sexual advances? Plus the author literally going in depth of the amount of pain she’s in solely because she’s resisting.

With all the revamping she did…how on Earth did she not stop for a singular second & think about how disturbing this story truly is. How? I mean her dad literally sold her to a ton of vampires who thought she was a stripper! That’s sex trafficking! Not to mention the opening scene in which the main LI literally forced himself on defenseless MC & compelled her to stop moving. How? I just wanna know what she’s taking that makes her think that’s okay

But that doesn’t really mean anything as once she’s changed the number of profanities in each episode and the slaps and kicks to the correct amount, the story will no longer need editing which means the same abusive content within story will still be allowed out for people to read

In her IG rant she also goes on to complain about the fact that episode went after her for having characters who have sex with people who are not their age. She says that, in her opinion, age gaps in relationships should not be seen as bad if the two people truly love each other. She also uses examples of relationships in which a person is 20-something and their partner is around 40-something. I agree.
However, there is one problem.
In her story, the age gap happens between a person OVER THE AGE OF CONSENT and a girl who is UNDERAGED. Yes, the guy is 19 and the girl is 16. That’s only three years and not much difference, right? Well, while there is not much difference, it is still illegal. Why? Simple. They had sex, and according to US law (using the US since episode is an US-based company) and multiple medical and psychological reports, teenagers under the age of 18 are not capable of giving consent. No matter how much she wanted it, under the law, it is still rape. The whole “if people love each other” argument should only be aplicable when talking about adults not an adult and a teenager.
Just to clarify, I do agree with some of the other things she mentioned in her email. Like pointing out episodes hypocrisy over asking her to change a scene where there are hints of a teacher-student relationship while they themselves have featured stories that revolve around a student-teacher relationship. Now, I don’t like these kind of romances (for obvious reasons), but episode shouldn’t bring authors down for things they do themselves. I just had a problem with the age gap thing, especially considering the two characters in question had sex.
