Since she was told to change her story, she has changed her cover. The notion that she’s changed her mind is highly debatable.

It’s ok if she wants to ship them, but it doesn’t mean it’s going to happen. The covers are more like partners in crime than lovers.
Like I said, it’s not what she “said,” it’s her actions. Saying not one, but twice in fan mail that Ryder is a love interest after all the things he’s done/ said not only to Kylie but to other people is what romanticizing a psychopath is. Not to mention, having your story cover as the two of them acting like their inlove, having them kiss, flirt and cuddle with each other in the story. It’s the little things that she does that proves she is glamorizing and romanticizing Ryder.

Again, if she is even entertaining the idea of shipping them, she is allowing her audience think it is okay to romanticize him.
If she truly didn’t want to send that message, she wouldn’t engage with content that does this.

If I wrote a story about an abusive alcohol-addicted person, the last message I’d want to send out to my readers is that it’s okay to glamorize him & draw fanarts of a girl & him together. You cannot be mad at people for thinking you’re romanticizing psychos if you continuously endorse the idea of it

Forgot to mention Bukii also had a contest last week for the My Psycho cover, one of which, ending up making the cover.
If she doesn’t want her readers to believe there was even a chance that the MC would end up with Ryder, why were these some of the winners.
If I were an author of a story with a problematic character, I would actively make sure that the winning image isnt romanticizing his relationship with the main character.
