I think that people who have the intent to rape are just as worse. They “compelled” her , that is equivalent to drugging someone and taking control of their body. She repeatedly expressed her discomfort, they didn’t listen. And then the scene was forgotten about and everything is alright in the other scenes lol.

Even if someone conveniently walks in the story when the assault is taking place, it still is wrong lmao. They still dominate her without her consent, and she is still treated as property. And these brothers are repeatedly romanticized in the story and by the fans.

Right I didnt say they were good people, I didn’t say they weren’t Atempted rapists I didn’t say they were good love interests… nor did I say anything about it being a good plot line… stop making it sound like I okayed it… I didn’t. I only said… when complaining on a larger scale. Clarify the difference.
There is one. Neither is less bad than the other at all… both are awful and do not and should not deserve to be romanticised. I only said about stating the difference between the two.

okay I understand, but my reasoning is that intent matters in crime just as it does for crimes like murder. Just because of external circumstances, they didn’t go through with the deed they still cornered her and manipulated her,and assaulted her. But thank you for clarifying but I think there is a bigger picture here.

I had no problem clarifying, Wasn’t given the chance before some people jumped to conclusions, I’m not stupid or evil, I don’t think it’s a casual topic that should be glamourised. It’s a serious thing that some people take too lightly, but if you want to complain get it right and make it clear then you have a ground for the complaint. Saying shit that isn’t true gives your complaint less grounds and makes it that it is untrue. All I was getting at.

All I asked was that you make the distinction in your complaint, to get it totally accurate. None of these attacks are right or acceptable. I totally agree with what you are saying there.
