Tbh Iād love to see what goes on in episodes minds donāt even get me started I donāt see why they wonāt even make a 18+ up section for Episode itself but can make a separate app looking exactly the sameā¦

If this means they remove the requirement for people to read 12 chapters of featured stories on the proper app before accessing community content, I am all for it. I might even start recommending the app to people!

I think so. My only concern is that episode is considering āmature contentā to mean erotica, syphoning it off into a new app, and cracking down on content guidelines in Episode proper. I know some people might like that, but I might rather just have an 18+ section here. Thereās mature content beyond just sex that Iād like to explore, and I donāt want to have to go to EpiPorn to write that. There are are stories that occupy a middle ground between āfamily friendlyā and āx-rated romance,ā and I hope there will still be a home for them.

Seems like theyāre just testing an app with a different title to see how well it does. And theyāre probably collecting data on their featured stories for some purpose. I think it was some time last year where they tested out an app using one story-Baby with the Bad Boy or whatever itās called- and had three versions of that story: a cinematic LL, a spotlight LL, and drawn out characters that were closer to the style of Choices and Chapters. Iām not sure it went the way they wanted because the reviews on the app were trashing the app for āstealingā Episodeās style because they didnāt realize the company that put out that app was a subsidiary of Pocket Gems
Anyway this is most likely just them testing the latest trends so they can adjust the way they run the app accordingly.
Btw what OS system do you have? Because itās not pulling up for me in the Apple store.
