Well I hope so
This is like my first story ever, but I’m putting way more effort into this one, would be nice if all the hours used to make this would be at least a little worth it.
I have. I have you to thank for that, boo
Let’s see if I can complete more of my goals for this year.
Yes! I started writing again after a long break, the story is basically writing itself now! Thank you for reminding us to be consistent ![]()
Ok- here’s a quarterly update lol.
I currently have 5 published episodes of my brand new story which came out just over a week ago. I have 2 more completed episodes ready to go and I’m estimating that the story will be finished in about 25 total episodes.
I currently have a little over 1.1m total reads so… I need this story to basically get 1m reads since I doubt I’ll publish anything else

@Mavis and I are hoping to start work on s2 of Agent Cinderella soon though. So hopefully that’ll help a little.
If I get time to work on the other goals, it will probably be one or the other but I won’t start Cyberstalk or a contest entry until I finish Unaccounted For.
How’s that, @amberose ![]()

So I did this thing… where it was supposed to just be a simple little fun story right? Haha, so, I uh, started getting overlays and shit and it kinda sorta grew into this big ass directing and branching monster and I wanna cry.
Mainly work on WTTAF again because you know how I get when I don’t actively write on that story ![]()

This is an awesome prompt
I understand. I cringe every time I do it myself. It does get easier but it’s still ![]()
Because what if I just skipped you? People would be like “oh they hate each other” and we’d be the talk of the forums, in the centre of all the drama!
We love amberose-pressure
It’s like 10x more intense than peer pressure
Ayyy, this is what we like to hear.
It’s what I do ![]()
Nice summary ![]()
Mmmm… ![]()
Oh no ![]()
Well, the good thing is that any kind of progress is still progress. But take care of your mental health and keep your sanity. I don’t want to see you stress over these super duper branching and directing stories, okay?
The talk for at least one week ![]()
But I don’t wanna fail you ![]()
I swear after today!! It’s grind time!! I mean it!!!
Right?! It would be a big deal!
I’m torn between telling you nothing you do would ever be a failure in my eyes or simply letting this fear of disappointment drive you to meet the deadlines ![]()
I hate myself because I’m one of those people who jumps from piece to piece and gets things done on all these different parts, but doesn’t compile so there’s something to beta sksk. I’ve been a bit behind, but today I think I actually came up with something that could make the contest deadline an achievable goal that doesn’t come with me losing my mind. Wish me luck. ![]()
I also have a little edit to post later today that I think might make you excited. ![]()
I felt this pain as though it were my own. ![]()

Either one will do ![]()

Hey, it still sounds productive ![]()
Yay! Good luck. I’m excited for you
OOh ![]()
Then take both and feel conflicted ![]()

Yeah, I want to update this story at least twice a week so I decided the more episodes the better. I’m going to release a trailer on March 26th (and maybe my short wolf story…?) then release the story on near the end of May.
It’s “a reality show with youtubers” story, and I guess drama and comedy as main genres ![]()
Aw, seems I’ve missed this thread.
I want to strengthen my patience so I can have extensive branching in my stories. I’d also like to give myself more structure when coding. I tend to code in pieces and do little things in different order, start chapters when previous ones aren’t finish etc. I need more self control in that area. I also would love to strengthen my writing skills.
Similar to my above answer, I’d like to achieve more complex coding and have stories where choices really matter.
Practice! Thankfully, coding wasn’t a difficult task for me to learn and overcome but more practice can only do good. :')
In 2019, I managed to learn how to use photoshop with help from a friend, which in return has reflected a lot on my current WIP. I’ve also strengthened my outlining and plotting skills.
To finally publish my main WIP, enter a contest(s), and hopefully publish a second story before the year ends. ![]()
Hey hun,
Yes, the Episode-guide itself helped a lot… and the toturials of Joseph Evans…
A few days ago I got a pretty good criticism of one of the best episode-writers on this forum…
Helped a lot… I found out my characters are out of size (too small for their age) at some moments…

Love A-W
Oh, I’m so glad to hear that
Yes! I’m currently at 45k+ so almost halfway there.
I’m still not sure if I have a solid plan, but I do have a better idea of what time I need to set aside to write and update so I guess that’s something. ![]()
![]()
Not really sure if this will happen now since I’ve been focusing on my other story but I’m hoping to at least get back to working on it in the next week or two.
I’m also going to add another goal: Getting into payments. I didn’t mention it before because I didn’t think I had a chance of getting 100k reads in total much less in 60 days, but I think if I continue updating like I have been it might be possible. ![]()
I’m hoping that I can publish another story this year.
I’m also hoping to reach 2,000 readers. Then, onto 3,000!
Honest, I want to write a story. Then convert it into Episode form.
