For me, I don’t like places where the LI and/or MC call eachother weird nicknames (Something based on an inside joke is cute but “babygirl” is not" :upside_down_face:)

Anyone who knows me knows that I love enemies to lovers in stories!
But a cliche I absolutely hate with everything in me is having the LI like the MC because she’s “different”.
Like, come on. :grinning:

In a non-existent alternate reality where cheerleaders aren’t all blonde and are super nice :sleepy:

Yeah, calling each other “babe” is fine, “sugarcube” or “cutiepie” isn’t it for me :’)

It’s even worse when the MC clearly doesn’t have much personality

I love enemies to lovers! If it’s well developed, of course. I hate anything toxic like mafia stories, or romances where the MC suddenly fixes the womanizing terrible LI just by existing. I’m not a fan of stories where the MC is a bitch to any woman ever just because she’s around the LI, miss me with that sexism please. Stories with bad boys I’m a sucker for as long as he isn’t abusive but instead just a guy who uses sarcasm and is a little bit cocky.

I really don’t like the shy girl changes bad boy, Or rich guy gets poor girl, I don’t like things that are un realistic and not show actual relationships…That’s half of Episode tho

I really hate when characters have feelings for MC with out a reason

it can be the mean girl who hate MC for no reason, like why do you hate her she did nothing. its so often she talked to a guy mean girl like, if you are so insocre about your reletionship a stranger talking to your boyfriend is enough to ruin that girls life, then you need threopy

also soul mates or love at first sight, I dont get what is atractive about a magical power tells you to be togheter, do you love yourself so little you think the only way someone can love is if another force, forces them to love you? and how is the reletionship even gonna work, maybe in medieval times where woman couldnt do anything it make sense, but today, we have work hobbies opions, and I feel like in a realtionship you need to be on same page or at least reading the same book, where soul mates you dont even know if your in the same library

I dislike the "mean girl "cliche, and the other stereotypical things that comes along with it. For an example, she’s mean to the MC for no apparent reason, the MC can’t even stand up for herself, bystanders just let it happen, etc. Like cmon, why does the mean girl always have to be a super rich blonde girl who’s a cheerleader and happens to be dating the most popular guy in school & why does the MC not even show a bit of courage for herself? It got old the first few times, so I don’t understand why most high school stories keep this troupe alive.

how the mc hates guys @ a random bar or pub or smth that flirts with her bcs she thinks they’re pervy but when the li knocks out that dude or flirts very pervily with her its completely ok and very cute

Typical cliche is :point_right: It always has to be a mean girl and a creepy guy in an alley. I want diversity → Give me a mean guy and a creepy girl in an alley. And of course the MC is innocent and changes the bad boy LI. It’s not real and in every cliche story.
