To be honest, I probably fit in too many themes to handle gracefully: we’ve got royalty, systematic genocide, magic, gods, time travel, romance, revolting against established governments… In simple terms, it’s a fantasy story with action and romance elements. 
I was STRESSED as all hell because it was my finals week, and I just wanted something to procrastinate, honestly. I started thinking about all of the fantasy stories I love, and I started world-building. The story grew from there.
I did, religiously. I was so worried I would accidentally break a guideline…and then I did, and my story got temporarily suspended (rightfully so). But, everything has since been corrected, so it turned out okay. 
I’m actually incredibly proud of the progress it’s made! My first story is actually the ONLY story I’ve written so far, but it was published less than four months ago and I just completed it recently. I’ve since looked back at my first few chapters and some of them are kinda rough around the edges, but I’m extraordinarily grateful for how well it’s managed to do; I’ve gained more confidence in my writing in such a short time frame than I seemed possible, and I have this community to thank for that.
