1. What was your first story about?
My first story is about a girl being obsessed with someone.
1.a) Did you publish it? If so… did you archive it once episode released the archive feature?
I published it .
2. What inspired you to start writing it?
The thing that inspired me to start writing it was probably because of that Beyonce obsessed movie :joy: but honestly I’m not sure what inspired me.
3. Did you read the tutorial guides and guidelines before you started writing it?
Nope :joy: I didn’t but I didn’t feel the need to because I know what’s inappropriate and what’s not. I also don’t really write extremely mature stories to begin with so yeah.
3.a) If so, did they change your story ideas or influence you to change your plot?
No. My story hasn’t changed much.
4. How far have you come since then?
I haven’t came that far. To be honest I haven’t came that far because I don’t really feel the need to learn all the advanced directing right away because it’s easier to just go with the flow.

This girl who’s sister ran away cause she was a vampire or smthn and she goes to find her.

It was back when Episode first came out in 2014 so the archive feature hadn’t come out, and thank heavens I didn’t publish it.

  1. What inspired you to start writing it?
I’ve loved writing stories since before I could even write properly (as you an guess, it was just a bunch of scribbles and me being excited and saying it), so when I discovered Episode, I thought why not?

  2. Did you read the tutorial guides and guidelines before you started writing it?
    Hahahahha no

3.a) If so, did they change your story ideas or influence you to change your plot?
N/A

  1. How far have you come since then?
I was like really, really young then, and now I’ve finally published my first story! It hasn’t really gotten very far but I’m still pretty proud of myself.

To be honest, I probably fit in too many themes to handle gracefully: we’ve got royalty, systematic genocide, magic, gods, time travel, romance, revolting against established governments… In simple terms, it’s a fantasy story with action and romance elements.

I was STRESSED as all hell because it was my finals week, and I just wanted something to procrastinate, honestly. I started thinking about all of the fantasy stories I love, and I started world-building. The story grew from there.

I did, religiously. I was so worried I would accidentally break a guideline…and then I did, and my story got temporarily suspended (rightfully so). But, everything has since been corrected, so it turned out okay. :joy:

I’m actually incredibly proud of the progress it’s made! My first story is actually the ONLY story I’ve written so far, but it was published less than four months ago and I just completed it recently. I’ve since looked back at my first few chapters and some of them are kinda rough around the edges, but I’m extraordinarily grateful for how well it’s managed to do; I’ve gained more confidence in my writing in such a short time frame than I seemed possible, and I have this community to thank for that.
