Do not tell me your story is diverse ( a little rant)

I find it kinda annoying when people write hey read my story it got diversity. like that is a reason to read it

do not misunderstand me. its great a story got diversity the more the better. but if you feel like that is a reason people should read your story then it usually means your story is not good

a good story plot is able to sell. if it has a 100% white cast or if the casting mix is in more colours then your m and ms

because if it is good. it does not matter. keep making diverse stories because it is a better story with different people of all kinds. but don’t expect people to like it just because of that.

yep, a good story should be able to attract people to it without the author having to spam “THE MC IS BI I’M SO INCLUSIVE!!!” everywhere. like, i do love a good diverse cast but that should be part of the story, not the whole thing.
