some people require credit while others don’t, either ask said person if they need to be credited or just credit them in your story, better safe than sorry.

well it can be considered as a good manner to give credit if its not your work. But for “have to” - no you do not have to unles it is directly requested or of cause you have to do it if the template already includes the credit…like in daras CC templates
