Hey everyone! I’m new to this writing thing and wanted to know if there is any tips or tricks you guys can share with me, thanks!
Looking for anything specific??
No, just anything you found difficult at first or something that would help
If you need help with any coding you can visit my website and take a look at all of my guides and tutorials.
Definitely watch Joseph Evans tutorials on Youtube as he helped me a lot when I first started learning how to code. Also visit https://www.dara-amarie.com/ her guides also helped me so much.
EpisodeEllyyt I think that’s her name on youtube also helped.
Your guides have helped me so much so thank you for making that website
I can give you some advice on how to make the story more interesting, visually & plot wise!
Yes please!! thank you!
So visually: it’s a lot more important than you may think! The story has to look visually good for the reader to fully enjoy it (there are great stories without much visually interesting things), you should do zooms! They really help intensify the mood and dialogue. Also a thing I’ve noticed, is that the speech bubbles have to look good too! Proper spelling, grammar, and also a space after a comma. Use some overlays and layering to add depth to the story!
Tips for an interesting plot/story overall: don’t overthink everything, write what you like but feel free to take suggestion from other people, don’t feel pressured to write if you don’t want to! To keep the story interesting, don’t reveal everything about the characters at once! Do some flashbacks (but not too many, it can get quite annoying), do cliffhangers, ask the reader questions and only later give the answers, keep the reader wondering and imagining what could happen next. Do plot twists, if a reader thinks they know what’s going to happen, prove them wrong!
It also really helps if you have planned out what you want to write beforehand.
I really hope this can somehow help you!
Best of luck in writing!
@ALLIRisesAgain : this tip might be helpful for you too hun!
And @AnnSza thanks for sharing your advice🙂
Thank you Dara!!
Hey thank you for the tag @Elaina2

Write whatever interests you! Someone else mentioned this already but definitely watch Joseph Evans videos. I would recommend promoting your story on Instagram too.
If you ever have any questions feel free to dm me on insta. (same username as here)
Hi, I would separte coding and writing tips.
For coding - on the begining it might look dificult, especially when the new authors start with dificult tricks.
I personlly would sugest to first start just some testitng “story” where you will test all the scripts.
Wat is esential to know on the begining
- how to put a background on scene
- How to put chracter on scene
- how to make character speak
- how to make character do animation
- how to make character walk
- knowing difference between & @
- how to zoom
- how to make cut, pan
There is thing called simple directing - thi is god thing to start with.
While most authors abandon it in a while and start to use mostly dvant spot directing it is still good to stsrt with the basic.
Once you will understand and remember the basic go for all the advanced stuff
- spot directing
- overlay animations
- choices
- inputls
…
As mentioned above me you can see popular stores which do not have the best directing but in this moment the concurence of stories is so big that I believe tht without good directing it is almost imposible to get as a new author the story to be noticed.
How ever it is not the directing but the writing itself that turns most of the readers away. Thay will forgive you simple directing but thay will not read if the story is for them boring or confuzing.
I did several feedback for new authors and can share with you the most common mistakes in writing.
Which is too big speed of the story withour proper dialogues. God writing is mainly about the small scenes which are natural and you get the information through the scene without even noticing it. Esential is to give the characters personalities and let them act based on the personalities, to show relationship betwee n different characters throught all this small scenes which seemingly do not hve any particular connection to the main story but sre essential for good writing.
Take some story you really like and reread it and study what happedn in 1 episode and what of all the small scenes there ware…usually you will find out there was not that much happenning and you will be able to describe it in one sentence lik— girl moved to new town went to new school met neww friens and on the way back she stumbled upon sexy stranger…but all this happend in 10-15 minutes so in relity there was a lot of this small filling scenes. And it is esential to learn to make them.
Glad I could help!
