I wanna know if you guys listen to music while writing your story or do you find it distracting and if you listen to music what type of music do you listen to?

Nope, never. Not while I work on assignments, not during coding, none. Not even instrumentals. I have a short attention span and I get distracted easily without me knowing until I catch myself, which is really annoying. But others find it easy and they can do both at once (:

Yeah, I do! I’m a very music oriented person and I love listening to it! I have a very strange taste. I like anything by Queen, anything Metal/Heavy Metal, or classical music!

Yea, I do all the time, especially when coding. Honestly idk… I just listen to my weird random playlist, and also it mostly depends on my mood.

Ocasionally but I also tend to watch TV shows that I’ve watched before so I can listen in the background and know what’s happening without needing to look up

Yea, but I always end up getting distracted lol. However, listening to white noise makes me focus better, and it’s really relaxing and not annoying after a while.

Yes, I listen to my very contrasting playlist that has two types of unrelated music, but strangely, both of those types of music inspired my story. Then, I pause my music when I’m ready to add Episode music into my story so that I can preview the scene and see what incidental music works best with the scene.

I listen to music on a daily basis, I literally can’t function properly if don’t have my airpods with me. I generally listen to music when I code, while editing overlays, doing assignments or even just while I’m in my mom’s car. The music I listen to inspires a lot of what I’m writing, the song can erupt the purest & raw emotions of my characters. So it helps a great deal at least for me
