I hate the way schools run. I hate the way teachers (are forced) to teach. I hate that I now naturally wake up at like 7-8am if I go to sleep at 10-12. I don’t like that they teach 8-10 year olds so similarly to the way they teach 17-18 year olds. I don’t like the fact we all have to learn the same way and they make me hate learning things. I hate how my procrastination seemed from stress in school. I hate how it disregards the mental health of students. I hate that bullying is a thing. I hate how classist school opportunities can be (more ap/honors classes in a rich neighborhood etc…) I hate that my little 8 year old brother despises the idea of going to school or learning at home, even though he was so excited to be there when he started. I hate pitting children against each other. I hate how if I want to learn something I can’t rely on my school to teach it. I hate how adults say “we’re preparing you for the world” instead of preparing us to change it. And I freaking hate grades (I’m not sure why yet, but I know there’s something fundamentally wrong with them). I
But generally I’d say I like school, my friends are awesome
