bruh this is how it goes
-spend time with him and find out new stuff about his past- (50 GEMS )
(if you stay with him you learn that—> he went to jail.)
boom wasted 50 gems
-leave/go home and learn nothing about his past-
BRUH IM FINNA GO HOME AND EAT TACOS AND CHIPS!!
lol
Lmao ME
I stopped reading them years ago.
This is what would happen:
The story description would sound so interesting, I’ll open it up, get really into the story and the characters, then I get frustrated I have to pay gems for the stupidest things, (why do I need to spend gems for something that’s already in the MC’s closet? Or, use common sense to help a friend or ask a simple question?) So I end up not spending any gems, miss out on a lot, to find out the story ends the same no matter what, but I still sit there actually contemplating spending money for gems
I stopped all together, the only story that I absolutely loved and spent all my gems on was Dirty Dancing
hahaha meeeee
though I never read Dirty Dancing
I used to read some of them, but I stopped a few years ago because of the gems. They annoyed me so much to the point that I swore to myself that I’ll never use them in a story I make or read a story that uses them.
Same
I prefer supporting the community
There needs to be an option for I only read featured stories to get screenshots for the wishlist
I avoid featured stories like the plague lmaO
I would add but I can’t change the poll anymore lol
I only read them cause we get to see new clothes and hairstyles
I made a conscious decision to stop reading them last year
I just flick through them quickly without reading, to get gems. The vast majority are crap
And why before even you decide it do the have to do that LOOONG pan from toe to top of the MC, while she’s doing the back shake, then she turns around and dances then brushes her hair, then does another dance and says how great the outfit is and then the best friend says how great it’ll be as well, then finally after 30 seconds they ask you to buy it and it’ll be like “Wear this fabulous dress” or “just risk it and go in drab clothes”. Then you finally think it’s over when you click the free option. No. It’s not over, they STILL ask “are you sure?” Then the gem choice come up again and said you will “rock it” with this outfit or just go in normal clothes. Then you AGAIN pick no (why can’t the writer respect your original choice?) Then the best friend makes a comment like “I guess this’ll do” (some best friend)
They are practically saying be a great person and give me your gems.
If you say no the MC or her friend makes a comment of how dreary you look. To me, it’s the writer themselves basically calling you a cheapskate because you won’t spend money to read their story.
I honestly feel like the original stories are more PG then community stories. I know their a lot of kids and teens on the app who lean towards original but I personally like community way better reads, better story lines, great edits and active on social media platforms where they support their fans and one another!
I never read them - minus one or two exceptions. Usually because I find these stories (or at least the source material) harmful and gross and don’t want to support them with my reads.
Episode’s profit doesn’t know the difference between a hate read and a normal one.
I only read them for the new clothes and new features
