It’s different for every reader. I don’t mind reading stories with only outfit choices as long as the plot is good, but I know a lot of readers like choices to feel part of the story.

In my personal opinion, complex choices should be far and few. Having too many choices that greatly affect the story can make readers cautious about progressing in your story. A good story usually has many small, simple choices in every episode, and about 2-3 complex choices every 3-4 episodes. (That’s usually a good way to space em). I understand that making complex choices can be difficlut at times, so if you ever need help, you can pm me for advice. :slightly_smiling_face:

Does it need complex choices? No. But I would say simple choices are a must, considering the tagline is Choose your own story. So even if they’re not complex, readers still feel like they’re making the story happen.

Are complex choices better? Eh, not always. Sometimes I like feeling the pressure of a choice having an impact, but sometimes I just want an easy read, that doesn’t require me to feel a heavy weight with each choice, so…
