Like when there’s a night background it fades into a day background it’s really cool and i have seen it in several stories

hey you have to take two same episode backgrounds but should have day and night. and to show the transition you have to use the transition command between them. example of the command is @transition fade in black 2.0

Yes, overlays would be your best bet. I did that for a changing of the seasons. And it looks really cool.

Yea but when i upload BGs as an overlay it gets pixelated and everything is just dull
did you resize it? because there is actually no reason if you make an overlay from BG to get pixeled…

I mean when you turned it to an overlay have you changed the size of the png?

if you want to fade it to the BG just change the opacity in time
for example:
BACKGROUND with OVERLAY
@pause for 2
@overlay OVERLAY opacity 0 in 5
