You may need to have the laptop itself as an overlay then go to a photo editor then replace the screen with desktop image.

it depends… if you have laptop overlay with black screen you just need to add an overlay of the “on” screen which is on above it … if you do not have one fitting the perspective you will have to adjust it in photoshop
