I am very new to this and English isn’t my first language. So does anyone know what horizontal offsets mean and how it works?

Ah I know what that is… Its when you use simple directing but need to shift horizontaly the character… I think almost nobody uses this because once you want to move characters freely everybody learns spot directing which is more efective.
