i only like the chocolates, plushies, treats, and the royale high easter egg hunt.

idk I mostly use Easter weekend as a way to simmer down after a hard week. tho my parents are religious so it’s a new story for them

Easter is a huge part of Polish culture, so Easter is a huge weekend for me. Plus, as someone who’s taken a fair amount of christian theology courses, it’s pretty cool to have an in-depth understanding of what Easter truly is.
But in general, I’m spending the weekend with whatever family I have left (we’ve been dropping like flies 
) and making pisanki, pierogis, babka, kielbasa, or abnormally difficult ostereierbaum 
It’s just a really nice weekend to remind myself of my roots and connect with my rarely-seen family tbh

Honestly, I forgot about it. I just eat my chocolate egg and grace over it. I mean this year there is no church service (I am not religious but my dad is) so I don’t really have anything to do except eat the eggs the church gave me to push me into their religion. I am not complaining tho but it won’t make me come to church more often if you give me gifts. I used to do egg hunts so I guess it was nice then but now I don’t so it is basically another day/weekend just with more chocolate.

I guess I like Easter since my family prepares lots of nice food to celebrate.
We’re religious so we do things like praying, reading/singing (?) Passion of the Christ, and many more. Only thing we don’t do is the one with Easter eggs, or the chocolate bunnies other people say, it ain’t that much common in my place :<
