Does it count as a read if you read your story from the creator’s corner?

Hey. Just wondering (I don’t think it does) but does it count as a read if you read your story from the creator’s corner? I’m not too sure, but I don’t think it does count as I just tested it out and read a chapter of mine, then went to the portal and re-loaded it and my reads didn’t go up by one. I would’ve been quite disappointed if it did count as a read, but just making sure.
