Hi! would this make sense? The mc works at a cofee shop but her manager calls her that she was offered to act for this show. Would it makes sense if she switch jobs?

I think that would make sense and realistic because there have been plenty of celebrities who worked part time jobs until they got there big break.

Maybe the MC likes to act, and the manager always overhears her practicing during her breaks, and lets her know that they think she’ll do really good if she auditions to act for a show

So maybe like during the MC’s lunch break, she likes to act out lines and stuff from her favorite shows or movies, (as if she’s an actual actress) and the manager knows that she is talented because they overhear her doing this. Then one day when she’s practicing or maybe after work, her manager decides to let her know about this auditioning for a show, and tells her that she’s really good and should give it a try.

Yes it does but try to make it as realistic as possible. Like if they get their “big break” down make them drop their job right away because it is unfortunately not a secure career so they should have something to lean on if it goes south.
