Dress changed in next chapter appears in 1st chapter too

I change dress in next chapter but the dress that I changed appears in 1st chapter too I mean my character wearing the changed dress in 1st chapter too that dress which the character is supposed to wear in 2nd chapter

It happens when u r reading the 2nd ch and then u go back to 1st ch
Or did it appear at first when u appear at 1st ch or after u reached ch 2 then u go back to ch 1

If you read the 2nd ch and then again went back to 1st ch without resetting … you’ll have this problem

is it same dress you put in chapter 2 like chapter 1 or it different dress and it maybe glitch sometimes episode glitch and make that happens that why it happens to chapter 2

It means that when you were playing 2nd chapter, you reused the 1st chapter scene as a flashback. When we are going to flashback we need to change the outfit settings to the previous one that was used in the flashback scene and if we don’t then the outfit remains the same. And in your case you didn’t change the outfit so you have this problem.
So for proper view what you have to do is:
You need to change the current outfit with the flashback scene’s outfit and when the flashback scene is over you will need to change the flashback’s outfit with the current one.

If you’re testing using the app this is normal. Only you as the author experiences this when you test your own story. There’s nothing wrong with your story and it’s not a glitch. When you play your story in the app and your character either changes outfits or appearance, they will stay in that outfit or look even if you restart the episode or go to another episode. It’s just an app thing. Your readers won’t experience this once you publish your story. Only you as the author experiences this.
