Some authors instead of adding gem choices throughout their stories, they are adding a early access to the episode choice at the beginning. The reader can choice to pay a certain number of gems to read the episode or they can wait a week or so to read it for free. It basically works like early access webtoon.
My question is how exactly do you code this early access gem choice. If someone knows can you please explain I would really appreciate it.
I would think the author takes bits and pieces of the scenes from the next episode and code them into the previous episode. Just copy the code and add it in.
this is not added by authors but by episode - episode is now testing this feature as it was announced so some stories now might have this for testing reason.
this is not what MB24 is talking about - you talk about paying for a preview of next chapter but this is about reading whall new chapter before others do - early access - its new feature episode is now testing and we cant add it.
I actually hope they will not add this feature because now everybody can read new chapter right after it is published … but after this the one who do not pay will have to wait a week. Which is in my opinion bad for readers.
That true! Some readers could get impatient and abandon the story all together. However, on the other hand idk whether as a reader I rather pay to read a chapter early or pay gems for extra content/scenes like some writers are doing right now.
For now, they put just in stories on going. Like, if they are about to update a new episode today, they can chose if you want to pay 8gems to read it today OR wait until next week and read for free.
But what I’m struggling to know is if this will affect the story when it’s complete or when you’ll reread.
Bc, honest, I wouldn’t pay 8 gems in almost every chapter for a story with 30 chapters, ex. Especially not to reread one. Also, it won’t be an early access once the story is already complete and everyone read it.
When the story os on going wait is nothing, since you have to wait for the author update anyway, but in completed stories is totally senseless.
