Don’t you guys hate when authors give you the pay for early access option, especially if you don’t pay you have to wait a long time…in this case 11 days and it sucks because i’m at the ending of the story too🤦‍♂️

omg i didn’t even know that it could make you wait that long! i understand a few hours but 11 DAYS! that’s CRAZY.

You can just buy gems if you really wanted to read it or if you can’t I suggest earn some gems from shards in just watching ads, if not then patiently wait for 11 days to be free.

I normally see the wait time for 5 days but for 11 that’s crazy :flushed:

That is way to long! Even when it’s 3 days of a wait is obnoxious to me. I def don’t like it

While I think that an 11 day wait is obnoxious and unnecessary, you also have to look at the creator side of it. To access the “payment” program that Episode employs you have to earn a certain number of gems which in turn is making people do things like “early access” and “support the author with gems” etc

So, I can understand the frustration that readers feel, and I also understand that some people really want to get paid for the time/effort involved in coding a well directed/cohesive/well written story. :woman_shrugging:

Me either. I’m a writer and I don’t use that or gem choices.

Well i’m currently reading an episode official story to earn the gems, the story that’s making me wait is called “ghost of a chance”, it’s a really good story so im honestly dedicated to getting those gems :woman_standing:

This is because the author would have put EA on multiple episodes. If you put EA on, say, episode 4 and 5 then 4 gets released in 7 days and 5 gets released in 14 days.

I hate this so much especially since:

  1. its hard to get gems.
  2. i hate waiting.
  3. they make you pay.
  4. when it’s a community story.
  5. WHEN THE EPISODES HAVE ALREADY COME OUT
    (Like 30 episodes published and I’m on episode 11 but they make me wait for episode 12)

I hate making my readers wait so the only way I’ve input gems in my stories is for purchasing points and support option.

Sadly, your ranking is based on gems (I’m not sure to what extent), which is why support the author choices are a thing. It is tragic.
