I think you mis understand a bit, which is understandable I am not well spoken when I write, pancakes are called American pancakes where I live, and creaps are called pancakes.

Crepes have always felt more dessert like than breakfast-y to me. Which is probably weird. But also they aren’t as common to eat so maybe that’s why
