Emoji message likes on chat screen

I’ve seen on some episode stories (I think maybe featured only so maybe it’s not a feature that out to community yet?), where you’re on the message / chat screen and when you like the persons message, there are like ‘flying’ emojis.
Does anyone know how to do that? Or is it just a unreleased feature? Or maybe is this an overlay?

I imagine it’ll be several of the same overlay just switching in-between opacity’s
