Episode causing my computer to freeze up within 10 minutes

Everytime I go into outfits and try to customize a character, episode freezes up EVERYTHING on my iMac Sierra. I don’t understand the problem. My computer has a lot of space and runs pretty much perfectly, when I’m not on episode. I just want to attempt to make a story on the actual website because the mobile creation, and no offense, sucks. There’s no detail in the mobile creation. Someone help please!!!
