Need to get this off my chest. The episode community is no longer fun anymore and all that place gives me is anxiety. Constantly being reminded of past mistakes and being humiliated/embarrassed by others and no offense, the community has been not so fun. I missed the community when it was 2018 and 2019. Why can’t the community be back to the way it was before? Like all fun and stuff. Now, it became a nightmare to a point where I don’t even want to go on Instagram anymore. I can see why many people left the community and I’m so glad I did too. Reading episode stories trigger my memories. Everything episode related makes me feel anxiety.
Maybe you should take a break from it. I’m not sure what mistakes were made or the circumstances that are making you feel ‘embarrassed’ but if something like a forum and social media is causing you anxiety, it sounds like it might be time to take a step back from it. There are other story writing apps and websites that you can publish to. While they probably won’t be as visual as Episode is, there are other places to write.
Maybe try a different hobby for awhile, something that makes you happy to do.
Mental health should always come first, especially when it comes to the internet and social media. Take care of yourself.

I can relate for different reasons. Its really not fun anymore tbh. Its not like how it was back in 2018ish. You can barely post or speak out. The vibes just off. Its listless…the assets dwindled it feels like this place is dying…or dead. The same enjoyment just isnt there…for me it use to be fun to read…now stories kinda go in the storyjar until im ready to read them…if I even can anymore

I totally sympathize with your point about reading stories. I’ve been having a really tough time getting into anything I read, and I’m not sure if it’s what stories I pick, the quality of stuff in general, or just me growing out of it. I still love writing, but I feel like this whole community needs a jolt of energy and something new to bring new life to it.

I joined the forums probably in 2019 or 2020…buuut yeah, I do see that its not lively anymore like it used to be before…

Yeah, it really isn’t.
Basically like 3 years ago, I would try to read as much episodes as possible. I was always on it like 24/7. Now when I try to read some episode stories, I get bored super easily, I don’t know why.
Same thing with forums as well, every time I go here, it was always active and there would usually be a new post every few mins or so. Now it’s pretty much dead.
