Here’s my opinion: you don’t get to say what authors decide to do with their characters. You don’t choose if white people have big lips or not. I know so many people with big lips and they’re white. People need to stop this “sTop giVinG whitE cHarActeRs biG liPs.”

The jealousy in this community is WILD. “This person has millions of reads, so I hate them!” “They’re a popular author, so they’re a bitch!” And more, like??? Every popular author was a small author at first, just mind your business and keep your jealousy to yourself
You guys think the forms is the ultimate Google, like, oh, what should I name my MC, I need this, I need that, what the world do you think Google is for? Sure, the forms have stuff, only the forms can answer. But you guys are being extra.
Just a little tip, R4R’s are NOT a good thing! 9 times out of 10 people will only read the first chapter or so of your story and then move on to the next R4R trying to get more reads- this messes with your reader retention! It shows that people read the first chapter or so of your story and then decided not to continue, which will lower your reader retention score and ultimately lower your stories rank!!! (But ik some people don’t care about ranks and are more concerned about reads)

I think it’s sad that people won’t read a story because of the style it’s written in (I get it tho) people are missing out on some really amazing stories because they’re too judgmental to look past some cartoon characters and into an amazing plot
Episode was better before they introduced ink and limelight. I’m not even joking or exaggerating, the quality of the featured stories was 1000x better than they are now (there were mystery stories, action stories, sci-fy stories with incredible plots and twists!) Honestly, even the user stories were better back then! (Not that they’re necessarily bad now) There was no arguing about which style was better or which “group” of users (ink, ll, classic) was the best because there was only 1 style. I don’t remember there ever being any drama about literally anything, everyone got along really well and was supportive of one another. Tbh, things were just all around better back then.
