I’ll be frank, if you wouldn’t say it to them directly, why say it at all? Take full ownership of what you say.
As fun as these are to read, I do think that a lot of people are hiding behind confessions to say something they wouldn’t say directly, whether on a thread or in a PM.

Flags aren’t automatic though, they’re approved by the mods.
You could flag my comment, but it will only go through if Jeremy or Sydney decide that it violated the rules.

I agree that we’re limited in natural discussions, though. But that’s why I try to keep most of my discussions with others in PMs.

I understand if the opinions about episode, people wanted to remain anonymous. The ones where people are just talking about specific people and then using it as an episode opinion when it has nothing to do with episode and they’re just chatting a load of shit is what the issue is.
Those people are not worried about flags, they’re too afraid to say it directly to the person they are talking about.

Yep! This is what I was referring to.
If you have an axe to grind with a specific person, you might as well PM them and hash it out.
It’s one thing to have an issue with the forum or story guidelines. It’s another to say “there’s one person who is always in x thread and she’s so annoying” that’s not a confession. You’re just stirring the pot.

I agree! When I think of Episode Opinion, I think something like “Classic best style” (well this is facts…). Not “Oh this person whines so much!”

But why if it’s related to Episode, why would they get mad at you?
If it’s related to the content the person is creating, why not give them constructive feedback to improve?
