My answers

I have been taking drawing since 2018 (so 3 years). My first year was all about drawing in my sketchbook, every time I was bored. I was a loner back then, and I was often bored in school, but drawing was fun.

I use Clip Studio Paint Pro. I have a Wacom Intuos S and it comes with it. But I understand that a lot of people (most younger artist especially) can’t afford a digital tablet/don’t use a computer to draw/etc. I recommend Krita on computer and Ibis Paint X on phone (both free).

My favourite artist on Youtube is Marc Brunet, his art is amazing! Also, what helped me a lot: use references! Don’t steal or trace them. I usually go on Pinterest, find an interesting pose then draw my character in that pose. Now, I am able to draw figures with pretty okay anatomy from imagination. And flip the canvas! This is also very important.
Also, be patient. I have lots of bad sketches. You’ll have bad days, take breaks when it’s neccessary. And have fun!
