I for one am all for this! It’ll be a great chance for more inclusivity on the app and I hope it gets tested for the male body types as well. 
There’s always a chance for people abusing features like this, but if we don’t add it in I believe Episode risks losing an audience as the rest of media starts to slowly catch up with the idea that the real human is oftentimes more ideal than the model, “ideal” instagrammed version. In my opinion just because there’s a chance people might abuse the feature doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have it. As someone who’s struggled with weight and eating issues on and off for the last 6-7 years I’m glad curvier women will possibly be able to be better represented.
And congratulations to @Arrows.Episode for having her story picked to test this feature out!

I’m really happy that they heard us and decided to create more body types, it’s definitely not an easy thing to do.
The “plus size nerd” to “skinny popular” transformation stories are 100% going to happen but I honestly think that the majority of transformation stories are unhealthy, so I won’t even give them a read.
I’m also super curious to see how this will look on males. I know that they’ll need a lot of time and they’re just testing it out but I’m still curious 
I meant to respond to this. I agree with you. I feel like the neck is very off. I could be wrong here, but the arms don’t seem to portion out with the rest of her body.

I’m actually glad episode is making thiswe need different bodies why are all complaining when you all want this make no sense imfao and this and obviously their going through beta testing so it’s not confirmed yet. You can just create the mc how you want it to look…
Of course they should change the mc but it’s episode.
The community isn’t a monolith. My feelings on the plus size body shape being an eventual addition to portal are mixed and probably differ from even people who heavily agree with me.
If people see concerns like this as “complaining,” then it’s worse than I thought.
Different skin tone obviously, but see the shadow on the neck for the woman on the right? The left body needs that.
I definitely think a few other things about the body and clothing look just out of place enough that it gives me uncanny valley, but I can’t figure out why.
I see it. It’s like they layered the head on top of the body. You know when you are cutting off the arm limbs, and positioning the limb to your desired spot? That’s how the neck and head look. That was bad explaining, but I hope you get the picture.
Right. It looks like a separate upper layer rather than being connected to the neck.

Making this will help gain their audiences more since nobody doesn’t want to talk about real life issues. I seem on the thread many times before adding different body types so their doing something right hopefully they will add more.
Yes episode needs to fix some of tweaks but I’m glad their doing this i don’t know what you have mixed feelings about portal

I think this is great! There are a few issues visually to still be sorted out, but that’s okay. I really hope we can get this feature soon. I know this is something most episodians have been looking forward to for years, myself included. I totally understand concerns about makeover stories and fat-shaming, but I think it’s worth having them. If used correctly, instead of showing young girls/boys that everyone comes in one shape and size which happens to be thin, it’ll show them that people like that are accepted and normal. I don’t think it’s completely up to episode to parent young and impressionable kids, but I do think they should be a little cautious. Idk, it’ll probably be fine. As someone who doesn’t quite fit into either category (the current body type and plus-size one), I think it’d be cool to have an in between one. As for what could be coming because of this, I’d love some petite body types or shorter or flat chested. Maybe new male body types will come too. Oh well, even just this one new body type is an amazing step in the right direction. I want episode to know that we’re very grateful that they’re listening to our requests and actually doing this. We’ve been so persistent, now that it’s a possibility I want to make sure they know I’m very happy with the improvements.
I love the plus sized character! I wish she was the main character though instead of the best friend.
Never the less, I love the direction Episode is going with plus sized/different body shapes because all body shapes should be given some love!

If I see a story where she goes to camp during the summer and comes back skinny and out of nowhere the Li says he loves her since she was heavier I’ll loose it tbh
