This is about having a person from a different background to help people with their needs of diversity, sure race doesn’t matter. But in some cases it does. That isn’t what Shadow meant.

If there is nobody right for the job, then I’m not gonna hire them. It doesn’t matter what race they are. If there are no white people right for, let’s say, my IT team, there are going to be no white people on my IT team. It’s just ho life works.

I think what she means is if black people, for instance, try to apply, but have no expirence, and don’t have ANY amount of skill fit for the job. She wouldn’t hire them, just because people want diversity. It isnt her job to give it to them. Whoch also means; Even if most of her employees were white, and people wanted more black people, she wouldnt hire them just because people wanted them. She only hires people who have some sort of skill, and are fit for the job. Which has nothing to do with race.

I think thats what she means. I was confised at first too.

 We can see that the natural hairstyles that we have on the portal are either missing hairlines and/or are drawn completely wrong (see: Limelight Afro). This is the reason why she said it. No need to drag it.

That’s simply an oversight on Episode’s part. They’re not hiring live models for styles, they’re hiring coders.

Then it’s probably not working since hairlines are missing and it doesn’t look similar to how it is in real life. I’m sure a black person can communicate and lead the artists in a way where the hairstyles are more accurate for the players and writers.
