Hi! I appreciate you trying to help me, but my issue is that at least one of my questions has no other way of me figuring out the answer beyond submitting a ticket.
For example: does Episode’s definition of orgies include threesomes? Because if so, that changes a lot. Having an answer to questions like this would help me know what’s reportable and what’s not - amongst other things.
I agree with you that the guidelines haven’t really been changed as much as people are saying.
So can a shirtless character with breasts also not break the guidelines depending on the situation? (Rhetorical. I know only the conventionally “masculine” avatar is going to be permitted uncensored shirtlessness. )
I specifically asked about males, but I think a shirtless female/person with breasts is always going to be seen as more inappropriate than a shirtless man
It would be the same as if I walked down the street shirtless with my shirtless boyfriend. Who’s going to look inappropriate in public? lol
Haha, it is technically legal in some cities, even in the US, but it doesn’t shock me that Episode adheres to more traditional and gendered rules about exposed chests.
Well it’s says no references orgies and an Orgi has to consist of at least 5 members. So I would think your good. But hopefully episodes gets back to with a confirmed answer. But in one of there featured stories you have the option for a 3some so Idk why we can’t do it as well.
Update: I got an email back and, of course, the lady copied and paste the guidelines… As if I didn’t look over those before sending the email. And, after stating I read the guidelines
Okay, so this is my whole interaction with episode after I send them the mail:
copy and paste “You can get your story reviewed etc, read the guidelines”
I responded, that it was great that they answered, but that that wasn’t my question
Then they just copy and pasted the guidelines about censoring swear words and send it to me
To which I replied, that I already read the guidelines, but that they were quite unclear
Until they send me the first email again
Honestly not going to even try it anymore. I wholeheartedly agree with the new guidelines, but why would they even ask us to send in a support ticket, if they are not going to answer our questions?
This is why I’m scared of asking some questions. I have actually come to the conclusion of removing any swear words and asking the user each time if they want to kiss the character or want to skip a particular scene
So we have to ask the reader every time if they want to be kissed or just skip the scene ? To be honest I’m not doing all that I get episodes is making changes in the most of them I have no problem with. But writing an episode is already a lot of work I’m not adding more for myself.
After they answer my first question about shirtless men, I plan on asking this too while my ticket is still active. Specifically, a cover of mine with a bloody knife (Ghostwriter, if you want to look it up for reference). I’ll let you know if I get a straight answer back lol.
