It’s way easier than having to change the whole cover.
I guess authors with guns on their covers should just photoshop theirs out

Actually, it depends on the cover. This one was not that strange.
For example, on my previous I had my character doing idle_hold_gun so photoshop it out wouldn’t make sense so I changed the pose

Reading this reminded me of this old INK Featured/Official story called Summer Share. One of the main characters had a threesome with two guys, though the only visible scene of this was their bed in the , ahem, afterglow. It isn’t a choice though.
Wonder if that scene has to be changed, especially since all of them had censor bars. I’ve never really thought about it much until now

IDK, it’s been a while (like … 2014 - 2015-ish) since I last read. Maybe by the time you read it, it got edited out

Yes it was in the new version as well far as I remember they just give you the option to choose it… And another feature story shows it as well but I can’t remember which one.
I would think all they have to do is add towels or just keep them in underwear instead of censor bars.

I got another reply to my shirtless male question and it was much clearer. It does seem like a lot of questions will be case-by-case though which is only going to add to the confusion since I think there might be a fine line between some covers.
I can’t share the images I specifically asked about as they’re not mine.
I asked about bloody knives and was told that in my case, it would likely be fine. But knives should be fine for covers, just not guns.
