Do the guidelines explicitly say kissing and hugging are allowed? I guess I missed that.
They have decided in the past with other authors they’ve censored that flirting, kissing, and hugging are sexual interactions so I’m trying to understand what exactly they’re allowing on covers, and I think it’s important to be 100% sure since people spend a lot of time and money on these covers. Nobody wants to spend money or time on a cover with two people embracing each other and looking deep into each other’s eyes only to find out from one of the reviewers that it’s considered sexual touching and is prohibited.

literally PG-13 films - which episode is claiming to be their age limit - don’t bleep out their swearing. It doesn’t make any sense at all!

Ok currently writing a story based in London:
So London scenes are used especially the Big Ben and things. Can I still use those backgrounds? -
I have swears in the dialogue but there’s a big fat warning at the beginning of each episode. Can I keep the swears or do I have to remove them?

I don’t get the whole censor/sexual thing. I have a few scenes where the couple are kissing in bed, but there’s a cover overlay. Yes it’s a sex scene but the dialogue is more about how they feel about each other. There maybe a shower scene I need to update or I can place the narration over the censor so it looks like they’re kissing?

The Story is a science type fiction. There is talk about medicinal cannabis and cancer but I do put a warning about medical facts I’m about to use saying that it’s false.

Just to let you know the band I use are made up celebrities so it’s not a fanfic. It’s just a story.

There’s a scene where the character says; Alexa do this. I’m not advertising, the character is just using the device.

Adding in my two cents here. My stories are pretty tame, pg most of the time and this is going to take me hours and hours to do this across 6 stories. A month is pretty short considering some of the changes that have to be made. It’s like the longer you have been here the more work you have to do.

Lol I thought it was usually teenagers that were writing those. Adults seem to be more chill and less in terms of sexual content in my experience.

I’ve sent a support ticket but I think the episode team should have done more research because if you look at some of the other story telling apps that are 13+ they also contain violent material and swearing so I am super confused.

If your stories are tame then I’d say you’re probably good then. 
Yeah I don’t even curse that much in mine but this is still going to be a sh*t ton of work across 6 stories.

Maybe instead of making that rule they can add a feature where it says pg, 13+,etc.
It seems easier and better for the people who don’t mind cursing…

True like writers could advise the readers about the scenes
The only thing I can really see taking people an excessive amount of time is the covers since those will take a while to get made and then approved.
As for changing curse words: control f guys. just use that to search for them.

Don’t episode have a story written with Joseph Evans called like ‘Goodbye’ or something that uses swearing without the use of the * in them?

I dont even use profanity in my stories. Nope, never. So, my story is just going to be plain and simple. I’ll be using swords and magic in my story. I love fantasy and they should be used.
