The may be the first time some of you have read the rules because 90% have been here for some time.

I agree. I’ve seen a lot of people talking about how “things need to change” in regards to keeping things appropriate for a 13 and up age group and now people are mad they’re doing this and now want it to be more adult???

All you had to do was…

@Liz I have a question, do these rules apply to you guys?

If she doesn’t answer in 48 hours, then you have an answer.

you can reference sex you just can’t show it or directly describe it.

This made me laugh, and I needed it because the update left me nervous.
As I’m not sure if my story will have issues. I’m breathing in and out and I’ll submit a ticket this weekend.

Nudity / Sexual Content:

  1. No depiction of sex (or anything suggesting that sex is occurring at that moment) in any form, including but not limited to, nudity in a sexual context, gyrating bodies, oral sex, or moaning/groaning.
  2. No explicit sexual details of what is happening, has happened or will happen off-screen
  3. No nudity without censor bars or scenery to censor
  4. No reference to orgies, sexual fetishes, and specific sexual positions
  5. No descriptions or depictions of non-consensual sex. Through content or through choice selection, the reader must be able to give consent to having sex or performing sexual acts (i.e. reader must always have the option to turn it down without punishment or judgment)
  6. No graphic/explicit/detailed description or depiction of active, ongoing sexual abuse involving a character who is under 18 years of age.
  7. No graphic/explicit/detailed description or depiction of illegal relationships such as incest.

Guys, come on… Here are the exact rules detailing what is allowed in-story, which is entirely separate from the stricter guidelines for sexual content in story covers.

I don’t think saying “hey don’t have on-screen depictions of rape” and “don’t have your characters do kinky roleplay” is too much to ask for in regards to an app that’s meant to be suitable for teenagers.

I imagine they would give you a warning and some time to fix things first… I think they said the process is going to take about a month. I don’t think they want to delete stories that bring them profit

Yeah because the thing about kids is new and that would mean episodes featured stories with have to change. A story like Started with a Bra would have to be scrapped all together. And the mafia featured stories would have to all be redone . The question is will they do it?

True though. It’s like, what we’re not supposed to do before :woman_shrugging:t2:

That seems like a waste of time.

I find sex irrelevant in a story, have them kiss, a little cute narration. Then DONE.

That’s your personal preference however others think it is.

Especially in pregnancy stories, like I know how this goes :joy::joy:

I’m going to have to disagree with the guns in story cards. That should be left alone.

I never said it had to be anybody else’s. I don’t need an episode story for sex scenes
