I think abuse can be described without being shown. You can also say simple things like “mom never liked me” or “ dad acted as if I didn’t exist.” You can show loneliness and neglect and other things to get the point across without showing anything physical.
I’m still confused though did they give anymore info on the zooming on kids under 16. I’m confused why that is an issue.

I understand that… however, I dont think you are understanding what I am trying to explain to you.
Yes, you can suggest that someone is cruel, and passive suggestion and “mean scenes” are needed to do that. Villains are mean… they do “mean” things… How else would you develop a villains personality?
There is a BOUNDARY of what is “too mean” and what is not. You will have to learn how to distinguish the two so you can write responsibly

What about episodes originals? The stories that they promote has inappropriate covers they’re characters are naked, etc. That’s unfair.

If it’s swaddled so that all you see is the bundle, not the baby, I’d think that would technically be OK. The baby itself doesn’t appear on the cover that way.

I don’t believe that half the readers are kids. I believe if they did a poll most of the authors are adults. I follow a lot of authors on insta and they are all over 20.

Because it’s an app for 13 year olds… I am gunna guess that’s why.
Most authors are readers they were readers to start. Following some of those accounts how became aware of episode. I do believe there are young kids in the community but not as many as episodes believes.

The app is for kids… period.
The app should ONLY have KID FRIENDLY content… period.
And again… if you want more “not-so-kid-friendly” material… they are thinking about creating another app for you… so whats the problem?
In the APP STORE it’s clearly listed as an app for ages 13+ … That article is old and when Episode was just beginning.
