Episode stated, that they will work on their stories, so that they fit the guidelines.
Yup! I think the key is, is to sneak in the maturity without making it obvious, like I got a scene where person A, says, let’s go back to my place for desert. Person B winks, black out. Next scene they’re kissing under the covers with a narration saying how much they love each other…
Pepe Le pew was the best… Just sayin… and he was constantly “sexually harassing” that poor cat!
LMAO!
Literally
two people cant be in the same bed… they will have to be making breakfast already…lol
There’s an episode where a cream pie gets stuck up Donald Duck’s butt
Darn it!! So I gotta change that

That’s the spirit!
This might be a underrated opinion. But, I personally don’t mind the ‘no sex scenes being displayed on screen.’ Honestly, it was always uncomfortable to watch and reading in narration. And, don’t get me started on the art scenes. This rule doesn’t bother me since my story doesn’t have sex in it.
I’m not a prude, but as a person who really doesn’t care for it. I never really cared about it in stories. And, now that authors have to add an option to say yes or no. Well, it makes me giddy inside because having the option to say no is always needed
I genuinely thought I was in the PG13 guidelines

But I’m sure those guidelines didn’t come out of nowhere so it’s funny one of their latest originals do not conform and the scene with the naked butt in college ish YOU PAY GEMS for
You’ll have to read them… but I saw a portion where two people cant be in a bed together… You may want to double check.
Someone said not allowed on the cover but ok in the story…now I’m super confused
Is it bad? Yes. But they are revising it now. I think we should wait until we jump to any judgement. If they don’t change it, then sure, everyone should keep pointing out their flaws. But they are changing it now, that is the most important part
Why not?
In guidelines is written they can have sex, we just have to ask reader if agrees. If not, there should not be any consequences.
Meaning: if they don’t agree, just skip scene.
Sex must be written without moaning and sliding, so basically kisses under blanket are allowed.
yeah… just read them again… They might be right. I dont have any scenes remotely depicting “Bed-Sheet Olympics” so I didn’t focus well on that sentences wording.
Is that image from Bloodlust? I’m curious to see if scenes like this are cut entirely, or if there’s a way to make them work that is inexplicit enough to meet the guidelines. I don’t think the guidelines require stories be set in a sexless world. It’s more about what is depicted and how it’s described. So I’m curious to see what extent Episode is comfortable with the existence of sex being acknowledged. They aren’t banning the word sex, or the existence of pregnant characters, so it’s not a complete moratorium on sexuality. They even acknowledge readers can consent to characters having sex, which means some addressing of it must be OK. I kind of wish they’d have a separate how-to post detailing their expectations specifically, maybe even breaking down a scene of their own that exemplifies the absolute end of where they want the boundary.
The best thing to do is send in a ticket if you don’t know for sure and it’s best to do that now instead of completing your sorry and then having to rewrite the whole scene
Read the guidelines… I recall something about two people not being in the same bed…
