Is it just me or the story just became a way to make you pay and doesn’t care a lot about the plot
Summary
Not related but can we finally get some of those new gowns they have so much stashed away while we have 3 and we get bunny ears and baseball outfits in updates
I actually read a few chapters of Venomous just to get enough gems to pretend to be a candy striper and watch a movie with Zoe. Two-in-one deal, am I right?
I feel like the more gems I spend on Dax the less time I spend with Zoe. I only spent time with Zoe twice and both of those times I ended up with Dax by the end of the night lol.
I’m jut a little peeved that if you don’t pay gems, MC just … gives up, because nobody came. Lacey and Preston don’t even get together at the end, which is a sucky anti-climax. The only way MC conveniently got the college scholarship is that mean girl Joanna got disqualified for acting unsportsmanlike after she won.
I don’t know, personally I would like it if there was a little scene of MC basically shoving her friends together and get them to directly tell each other how they feel, or something. It would be such a nice, little character moment
Yeah, they tend to make the non-gem option really awkward in the official stories. Like her friends are there with all these extra resources to help her win. Why on earth would she refuse? Same with all the clothing options. If someone is standing there with a gorgeous gown, why go to the gala in your pjs? There’s never an in-universe explanation that makes opting out of gem choices make any sense.
Why was the MC worried about “telling Simon the truth”? The dude knows she’s in high school, AND he pretended to be her RA when she got busted trespassing in a college dorm. She should have just told him, “I have to go defraud a college student now” instead of going through all the running back and forth to be in two places at once nonsense.
This episode is basically a farce, where she has to run back and forth between her HS and college friends before either of them gets suspicious that she double-booked plans for the day (even though her HS friends know about her double life already, so the urgency felt kind of fake regardless).
