When reading a story why do we have to wait like a couple hours to read the next 3? Like it says the story is fully released but I have to wait till the next episodes are released?

Do you mean the while you wait (blank amount of time ) or spend a certain amount of gems for the next 3 chapters/episodes ? Or are you talking about something else ?

Ok cool . So if you are talkin about the photo example I sent it’s so the authors can get more gems so they can possibly get paid more. The authors has the ability to chose if they want that feature on or off . If it’s on they can chose a certain amount of time. So it encourages the reader to use their gems to read the next chapters sooner . It’s a real pain in the butt tho.
Authors who use this feature normally leave there 3 episode on a cliff hanger.

Yea it is , I’ve had at least 3 of them happen like that so a few authors do it . Ik some people that would see it and just stop reading it because of that.
