idk if this makes a difference but in the beginning instead of “@pause for a beat” repeated put “@pause for 4” And for the characters emotions again idk if I’m right… but here’s my example…

Again I could be wrong I’m still very new to the story writing… I’ve been working on the same story episode 1 for more than a year… but this is how i do it and haven’t had problems with it. Hope this helps… sorry if it doesn’t.
Never mind on the character talking thing.
I tried that way and ITS AMAZING WOOOHOO LESS TYPING
so its not the problem…
The thing about the pause I’m pretty sure its just a shortcut to less typing too that way you don’t have to keep spelling out… @pause for a beat
It could be the placement but I have no idea at all on the spots and things that that
I just use
upscreen left
left
screen center
right
upscreen right
It’s less complacated if your like me and don’t understand any of the special spot placement
