Also, we are a US based company, which is why a lot of the heritage shelves are in celebration of a US-based month. If you have suggestions for other shelves, please hold out until we either launch a survey, or feel free to create a new thread to discuss!
We can bring the suggestion to the team about spelling errors and portal.
As a Brit who constantly gets errors for words such as: “Glamour”, “Neighbour”, “Colour” and so on. I feel like many of us will appreciate you mentioning this to the team.
Perhaps a solution would be to add a button which allows us to choose our style of English. Such as: British-English or American-English.
It would also make searching for the real errors [basically typos] a lot easier to locate within the script.
Because unfortunately… typos happen way too often for us fast typers.
If it’s allowed to mention, about portal, please, please fix the annoying error with pregnancy and sitting animations. (The one who says “about body types”.)
Because, I personally avoid these animations as errors annoy me too much.
How about a google survey link to suggest stories through? I’m thinking this could eliminate the repeat suggestions and congestion by having people fill out the google form, but I don’t exactly know how they are presented to the receiver in terms of clarity.
Yep, as an Australian we spell Glamour, Humour, neighbour, honour, colour, etc would be nice to have Australian-English too, would be nice to write and not see the error line or message, just because I don’t spell the American way…
I understand this, but still think there’s a huge difference between an author taking 3-5 months off and one taking 10-12 months. I guess, my main concern is boosting stories with a shelf that have a high chance of not being updated, because it’s not like they’re barred from getting on another shelf if they do start updating regularly. I honestly think this is something that’s been improved on, but during 2021-2022 I used to be able to look and see where authors being shelved hadn’t updated in 6+ months. If I can look, so can Episode before they’re shelving people. It doesn’t seem fair to authors who are putting things out every few months at least and not just starting and abandoning stories constantly.
