Existing Character Customization

How do you let the reader change an already written in character?

Like, the love interest’s sister finally shows up and you want the reader to customize her. However, you already have her name and outfit set up. So what would you do?

Customization templates work at any time in the story.
And you don’t have to let readers pick names when you customize…

You can use the command:

@CHARACTER goes to character avatar

Or if you would like to use templates to have family members look like them or only have certain features changed then you can find those here (they don’t have the name codes so don’t worry about having to take those out)

Well, there are script templates to use at the bottom right. At the start of the template, there’s this thing:

label first_name_input

input What’s Your First Name?|What’s Your First Name?|Done(FIRSTNAME)

if (FIRSTNAME is “”) {

    NARR
You do need a name...

goto first_name_input

} else {
continue
}

By removing that, you can have the love interest sister’s name stay the same.

For family member customization- it’s really a nuisance when you realize you have to customize family members, and readers (not all readers) usually don’t like to customize lots of family members because it takes a lot of work.
