Experiment: What happens if we all upload the exact same cover?

This experiment was inspired by @LiyahxWrites’s thread here: How Can We Fix The Mess That Is The Trending Section?

Originally I had suggested this as a joke:

Since stating that, my idea for this has somewhat evolved as I started to think more and more about just… What would actually happen if a bunch of us did upload the exact same cover for our stories? Would the review team approve them all? Would they get suspicious about copyright and reject them? Would they find this thread and learn that I am the instigator and email me and ask me to stop being this way? The possibilities are endless! :smiley:

@Zelda04 was kind enough to make me some art for this exeriement, so if you’d like to join in, we’ll be using this cover she made:

The fact that it’s “steamy” has nothing to do with the experiment now. It will just help you get more reads and that’s our way of thanking you for joining in on this experiment :blush:

DO NOT CLAIM THIS ARTWORK AS YOUR OWN!
Zelda has been kind enough to let us use this and has not asked for anyone who uses it for credit, however no one should be claiming this as their own.

For people joining in:-

  • You only need to add this as your small cover. If you want to add it to your large cover, you are more than welcome to however it is not necessary
  • Do not make a spam story for this. I know it would be funny, but it would end up causing more issues when you try to archive it and can’t get it off the app permanently. If you don’t want to put this cover on a story you care about, put it instead on your hidden story. Everyone has one of those, right?
  • We will be uploading the cover on Monday the 10th of June. I know we are all in different time zones so we all won’t be able to get this timing perfectly, so just any time on Monday will suffice.

Since I don’t know what will happen in terms of these covers getting approved, I can’t really say how long this will last. If the cover gets approved, I think it would be nice to leave it up for a week so we can see what happens to our reads and if we get lots of fanmail asking what’s going on. Lol

I know I commented on that other post saying that the covers weren’t that bad? Well I take it back (I haven’t looked at the Romance section for so long I really thought they weren’t that bad) I thought that they just had some people in their underwear not a porn cover
