hi!
no, you don’t need to as long as the story is not published. you just have to send the link that’s under " Share your story and improve your rank!" in the portal and the person you send it to will be able to read the story
if the story is published tho the other person will be able to read only the published chapters

Does it still cost tickets to read them even if they’re unpublished?
no! it doesn’t
and they will also be able to go back and forth as they wish (like in the app previewer when you can decide which scene/episode see)
